the plan

We’ve been dreaming, designing, presenting, and developing this project since 2021— now it’s time to tell the world about it. Our next step is hosting NWMOCA’s inaugural exhibition: Foundations of Northwest Cartooning, curated by Andrew Farago of the San Francisco Cartoon Arts Museum.

goals

We dream of NWMOCA being not only a museum and gallery but a creative hub, educational center, and communal gathering space. We plan to include a fully equipped makerspace for artists and students to create and collaborate, event spaces, and more. Let’s make cartoon arts history!
