Debbie Smith

I was born in Portland and I was raised in the aisles of Excalibur Comics, one of Oregon’s oldest shops. I have a business degree and I’m living my dream every day: running our family’s second-generation comic store and raising my boy in the aisles, just like I was. I try to live the way I was brought up – it’s what you do when no one is looking that is the true measure of your character.

Whether I am gathering resources for battered women and children’s shelters or donating comics to our local food pantry, it’s not about me… it’s about making the world a better place for all of us.
